The Spring/Summer 2017 shoe trends were not only interesting as appeared in so many styles and brought back so many memories from days long gone. From the different looks that were strutted down those runways in Paris, London, New York and Milan to the accessories and colors, along with the prints ,embellishment and different types of materials, the spring 2017 fashion trends have definitely been a hit.

It was all about chunky platforms and creepers which took over the summer spring 2017 collection which also adding height and loveliness to just about any shoe that appears on the runways and We can see them in breathable boots with open toes mostly in monochromatic colors, big wooden heels, using of buckles or different fabrics adding extra charm to it.Platforms are shoes,boots or sandals with an obvious thick sole, usually in the range of 3–10 cm (1–4 in). Platform shoes may also be high-heels, in which case the heel is raised significantly higher than the ball of the foot.  Extreme heights, of both the sole and heel, can be found in fetish footwear. These are Marc Jacobs candy colored dreadlocks and platforms that seemed even higher than the ones he sent out last Fall; from dreads to toe, they must’ve topped 7 feet. In between, there was sparkle, satin, and snakeskin.These platforms are made of bright color leathers with laces in the front and the leather for upper, sole,heel, back strap of different colors to give little extra edge.

These platforms are from Gucci 2017 collection. In these the platform heel are made of rubber and rubber soles, while upper is made of shinny red leather with a open-toe just like sandals with big round buckles on it.

These Platforms are again from Gucci’s collection 2017.Their models tended to be traditional Japanese footwear that has become the main focus of fashion shows. These are removable- slipper platforms that can be converted into slip-on. The heel are made of rich fabrics like- silk, brocade. these have thin straps with small buckles on them or a zig-zag lace up style with embroidery on it influencing Japanese patterns.

The season’s clunky platforms — which had a punk feel with metal studs or spotted prints were by COACH 2017 Spring Collection. These platforms had embellishment of metallic silver in color studs embossed on all over the wedge heel made of  black leather and rubber. And the upper of the shoe is again made out on shiny silver leather with have tassels on the top.
